Cherry Class - Y1/Y2/Y3 Phonics
Every day we use Dandelion Readers reading scheme books to reinforce the children's phonetic skills as each book progresses and focuses upon a specific sound or diagraph.
At PACE we do not use 1 specific Phonics scheme as children who attend have experienced a variety of schemes at their mainstream school. We do use resources from Read Write Inc and Letters and Sounds.
Teachers also use Twinkl phonics and Nessy for some children who have found it difficult to access the regular synthetic phonic schemes.
