At Launchpad we have high expectations for all our students regarding behaviour. Despite some of our students being excluded from mainstream schools we work with students to modify their behaviours and allow the pupils to be successful socially, emotionally and academically.

As you may be aware students are awarded points each lesson for their effort, behaviour and for being personable. They are scored on a scale from 1 (cause for concern) to 5 (excellent) for each category as well as points at break and dinner. Students can earn up to 15 points per lesson and 100 points per day.

Students should aim for at least 85 points per day. Students are rewarded each term for achieving an average of 85+ points every half term.

We use an online behaviour platform called Epraise to monitor student’s behaviour at Launchpad. Epraise allows teachers to record student’s daily behaviour, add accolades for positive behaviour and add comments for any poor behaviour called demerits. It allows students and their families to see achievement and behaviour records online.

Enter the email address you have given the school in the email box and leave the password field blank, finally press the Login/Register button. Epraise will send a password to your email account that you can login with.

Epraise Messenger

Epraise also has a messenger built in that allows us to communicate effectively with parents. Parents and teachers are often at work at the same time, so phone calls are difficult and giving parents teacher email addresses is often controversial. By using Epraise Messenger it will allow parents and teachers to stay in contact and support students during their time at Launchpad.
